A few short answers.
How do I report a bug?
Use the bug page. It is a short set of dropdown questions: what happened, where in the app, how often, whether you lost any of your library, and which app and Android version you use.
You do not type your name or email, and there is no free-text box. The one optional typed field only accepts a report code in a fixed pattern.
What do I receive when I send a report?
Nothing. The bug page asks for no name or email, so there is nothing to reply to. The developer gets a short email made only from your choices, and a preview of it is shown on the bug page before you send.
Is the bug page finished?
No. It works, but it is still under construction and the questions will change.
Where is my book data stored?
On your phone, in the app's private storage. Android's automatic backup is on, so it may copy your library, settings and your own cover photos to your own Google account backup. Uninstalling the app removes the on-device data but not an existing Google backup. "Export backup" writes a file that you keep.
Does this site store anything in my browser?
No. The pages follow your device's light or dark setting and do not remember it.
